Hello, I’m Catherine York — a certified hypnotherapist and Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) practitioner specialising in helping people overcome phobias and anxiety.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working as a nurse and nurse manager in the NHS. Throughout my career, I worked with people from all walks of life and saw first-hand how debilitating phobias can be — from a fear of flying or injections to overwhelming panic in everyday situations.

What struck me most was how misunderstood these struggles often were. I watched well-meaning professionals try to “talk sense” into those suffering — assuming logic could override fear. But phobias don’t respond to reason — they’re rooted deep in the subconscious.
